Step 01

Pick Your Preset

The preset is the DNA of your cover. Each one has its own lighting, color palette, and mood baked in. Scroll through and pick the one that matches the vibe of the track — not just the genre.

What works

  • Luxury R&B — soft light, polish, late-night power
  • Neon Vibes — dark, electric, cyberpunk energy
  • Street Cinema — gritty frames, urban drama
  • Miami Vice — pastel heat, 80s glow
  • Psychedelic — cosmic color, dreamlike patterns
  • Custom Blend — mix any two presets, or build from scratch

Step 02

Upload a Reference Photo

Want your face on the cover? Upload a clear, front-facing photo — good lighting, no sunglasses. The AI will swap your likeness onto the generated scene using the face-swap engine.

What works

  • Front-facing, neutral expression works best
  • Well-lit photos produce sharper results
  • High contrast backgrounds make swaps cleaner
  • You can upload multiple — the active one is highlighted blue

Step 03

Use Your Microphone to Prompt

Tap the mic in the Art Director chat and talk through your vision out loud — scene, mood, wardrobe, lighting. Speech-to-text fills the prompt so you can stay in flow without typing every detail.

What works

  • Speak clearly: 'rooftop at sunset with neon reflections' beats vague vibes
  • Name artists or films for mood: 'like a Carti album, dark and surreal'
  • Say what to keep or change after a generate — the mic works for refinements too
  • Quiet room + short prompts = cleaner transcription

Generate Your Cover

Hit GENERATE COVER. The current studio flow generates polished 4K covers, saves them automatically, and shows a live countdown while the Art Director paints.

What works

  • 4K = final product, crisp text, full detail
  • Use the countdown to track longer generations
  • The GENERATE button appears under the chat too — use it from anywhere
  • Don't like it? Refine the concept in chat and regenerate

Step 05

Download and Save

Your cover is saved automatically to your Creations vault the moment it's generated. Download the full-resolution PNG anytime — it's ready for streaming platforms, social media, and print.

What works

  • Covers are saved forever in the Creations tab
  • Use the lightbox to view full-res before downloading
  • File is a clean PNG with no watermarks
  • Advisory stickers are composited in — ready for explicit tracks

Small moves that make a big difference in how strong your covers turn out.

Tip 01

Name your song first

The song title drives the AI's concept. A strong title like 'Midnight Signal' gives the AI more to work with than 'Track 1'.

Tip 02

Use the label field strategically

If you have a label name, add it. It appears on the cover and signals professionalism. It also affects how the AI frames the visual narrative.

Tip 03

Reference real scenes, not vibes

Instead of 'dark and moody', say 'abandoned parking garage at 3am with broken fluorescent lights'. Specificity = better outputs.

Tip 04

Enable the advisory sticker

If your track has explicit lyrics, turn on the Artist Engine Advisory Badge in the left panel. Position it Bottom Right for standard placement.
